Jeffrey L. Christmann
Jeffrey L. ChristmannCEO

Mr. Christmann has decades of experience in major healthcare facility project management, construction, and operations, and has been integral in the growth of ADAMS since he came on board in 2006. He has been responsible for overseeing approximately 40M SF of new hospital construction, renovation and expansion, totaling over $20B in project budget. As Chief Executive Officer at ADAMS, he carries full responsibility for leadership, operations and management of the company. Prior to joining ADAMS, Jeff was Vice President for Healthcare at McCarthy in Dallas, Texas and previously, Vice President at GE Johnson Construction Company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jeff holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Colorado State University.

William D. Hucks, Jr.

Mr. Hucks brings decades of healthcare-focused program management and construction related experience to your project. As President at ADAMS, William carries responsibility for all professional services delivery, quality assurance, and operations of the company. During his tenure , he has been involved in many successful program management and advisory engagements over a broad range of services that include managing the planning, design, construction, and occupancy of healthcare facilities; consulting on real estate options; and organizational development for internal healthcare planning and construction departments. William earned his B.S. in Construction Management from Clemson University.

Gale Sipe
Gale SipeVP of Operations

Ms. Sipe has devoted her career to healthcare, commercial, and institutional construction. She has successfully managed preconstruction design and engineering process and construction and activation activities for complex, at-risk projects. Prior to joining ADAMS, Ms. Sipe served a lengthy tenure with Turner Construction Company in Cleveland, Ohio, where she managed over $650 million in construction projects. Gale holds a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois and an Executive MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.

Joe Gordy
Joe GordyVice President

With over two decades of experience in project management and construction of healthcare facilities, Mr. Gordy has delivered projects ranging from large greenfield facilities and multi-faceted expansions/renovations to specialized challenges like pediatric hospitals. Joe’s varied experience includes Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Target Value Design (TVD), as well as hybrid variations. Joe holds a B.S. in Building and Construction Science from Georgia Southern University as well as a B.A. from Mercer University.

Julie Edwards

Ms. Edwards joined ADAMS in 2018 as Controller before her promotion to Chief Financial Officer in 2024. In her role as CFO, Julie is responsible for the delivery of finance services such as accounting, treasury, shareholder relations, reporting, budgeting and insurance management. She has over twenty years experience in corporate accounting in various size firms. Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Shorter University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.

Scott Vinson

Mr. Vinson has established himself as one of the most experienced leaders in medical equipment planning. His depth of knowledge in the MEQ market is unmatched and spans his career, starting as a sales executive for a medical imaging equipment manufacturer. Prior to joining ADAMS, Scott led the largest medical equipment planning firm in the world. Scott holds a B.S. from Texas Tech University.

Dr. Velma Jackman, DSL, PMP, EDAC, Lean GB
Dr. Velma Jackman, DSL, PMP, EDAC, Lean GBSenior Vice President, Transition Planning

Dr. Jackman brings a unique blend of organizational strategy skills, IT and hospital operations knowledge, and project management and construction experience to every transition and activation project. Velma is passionate about helping clients manage change, adapt to new processes, and stay flexible yet organized throughout a facility move. She earned her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with focus in Healthcare Foresight from Regent University. She also holds a B.S. from Kansas State University and an M.S. from the University of North Texas.

Kevin Douglas
Kevin DouglasVice President, Medical Equipment Planning

Mr. Douglas brings over 30 years of comprehensive Medical Equipment Planning and Procurement experience to his clients. Kevin’s skills include capital planning and budgeting; new technology and best practice integration; as well as existing equipment evaluation and reuse strategies. Architects and engineers rely on his experience with complex and design intensive systems and spaces. Kevin earned his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia.

Nick Hill
Nick HillVice President

Mr. Hill has extensive experience managing the construction of multimillion-dollar healthcare facilities across a variety of markets, regions, and property locations. He is skilled in handling unique contract and partnership situations such as joint ventures or alternative funding sources. Nick is hands-on in all stages of projects from the schematic budgeting and bid process, to the contracts and project closeout. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Auburn University.

Thomas Yates, CPA, MS, CHFP

Mr. Yates has successfully led or advised numerous strategic and financial planning engagements, master plans, and other consulting projects. Thomas has served as a Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance and Financial Analyst for major healthcare organizations; directed a large private practice group of physicians including cardiology and cardiovascular surgery service lines; and led strategic planning and decision support functions for numerous facilities. His experience in real estate management and negotiations as well as overseeing healthcare facility construction projects allow him to bring an integrated approach to analyzing data and making financial recommendations to our clients. Thomas holds both a B.B.A. and an M.S. from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Valerie Wilkins
Valerie WilkinsVice President

Ms. Wilkins has dedicated her career to the construction industry, including over two decades specific to healthcare. Currently, Valerie is responsible for customer satisfaction and successful project delivery of our Rockies Region projects. She oversees a team of healthcare construction professionals and also actively manages projects for key clients. Valerie brings organization and discipline to the cost/budget process while mitigating risk to ensure the scope of services is met. Valerie is a trusted adviser who ensures her clients have the accurate information they need to make informed capital program decisions.
